I’ve been on Tazarotene for almost 2 months now, and for the last month I’ve had very intense peeling. I got a facial last week, and the lady was like “aiya you looking like snake la”, so obviously something needed to be done.
After some research, I decided on this cream. I’ve never tried anything from their company, but it was relatively inexpensive, so I decided to give it a go. That was last Wednesday (I got Amazon same day shipping lol that’s how desperate I was). Since then I’ve been sandwiching the tazarotene between two layers of this cream this past week and using it as a day cream as well.
Now it’s Tuesday, and I literally haven’t had any peeling since I started using it. I’m still getting some pilling (like into little grey balls) when I rub my skin at the end of the day, but none of the snakey action that’s been plaguing me for a month. (And no breakouts or extra congestion that I’ve noticed)
For context, I have oily dehydrated skin around my t zone and pretty normal skin everywhere. Very prone to congestion all over (which is why I started Tazarotene to begin with), prone to random single-pimple breakouts but not really to cystic acne. I haven’t been getting irritation or redness from the Tazarotene so cant speak on that. I live in New York.
Anyway, if you’ve also been peeling a lot I’d recommend trying this. Works pretty instantaneously, and I haven’t even been slathering it on I’ve just been applying thin layers like any other cream.
